Terms and conditions
Short, and in plain language. These terms apply to every quote and every instruction, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing.

1. Quotes
A quote is valid for thirty days and non-binding until you accept it. Prices for consumers include VAT; commercial prices exclude VAT. What is in the price is stated in the quote; what is not stated is not included.
2. Scheduling and weather
We work through rain; rain does not dirty glass. In storms, freezing rain or frost we postpone, because working at height is then unsafe. You hear from us as soon as we know, and the visit moves to the next available slot.
3. Access to the property
You make sure we can reach the parts to be cleaned: gate open or key available, no car parked under the elevation, no loose dog in the garden. If something on your side prevents us from working, we may charge fifty per cent of the visit fee for the time reserved.
4. Carrying out the work
We carry out the work as may be expected of a competent window cleaner. Where the state of the glass, the frame or an earlier treatment means a window cannot be brought fully clean, we say so before or during the visit rather than quietly passing over it.
5. Payment
You pay afterwards, within fourteen days of the invoice date. If payment does not arrive, a reminder follows first; after that, statutory interest and collection costs apply. For commercial instructions the quote may set a different payment term.
6. Complaints
If you are not satisfied, tell us within two working days of the visit. We then come back and do the work again. Only if that does not resolve it does a financial settlement come into play.
7. Liability
We are insured for damage we cause during the work. Report damage within two working days so it can be assessed. Not covered are defects that were already there — a cracked pane, perished sealant or a rotten frame that fails as soon as it is touched. Where we can, we point such defects out to you beforehand.
8. Ending the arrangement
A regular interval is not a contract: you can skip a visit or stop entirely at any time, with no notice period and no charge. For commercial annual contracts and property-management contracts, what the quote says applies.
