High-rise window cleaning in Utrecht
Above four storeys the telescopic pole runs out and the work begins where safety sets the price. We work from a cherry picker or from the facade installation on the roof, always with a method statement submitted in advance.

Always quoted individually. The price depends on the height, the equipment required and whether the street needs closing off.
For most buildings in Utrecht a cherry picker is the practical choice: nothing has to be installed on the roof, we are finished sooner and it is the least disruptive option for residents. What it does need is room on the street. In the city centre we therefore arrange a parking dispensation with the council; we make that application and we build the lead time into the schedule.
If the building has its own facade installation — a cradle or a track system on the roof — we work from that, provided the last inspection is still valid. If the certificate has expired we say so and we do not work. That is not a formality: an uninspected cradle is precisely the scenario in which things go wrong.
Every project comes with a method statement: which elevations, what equipment, what street closure and who is responsible. Our people are VCA-certified and we send the insurance schedule with the quote as standard, so your managing agent or facilities manager has a complete file first time.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about high-rise window cleaning
Do you arrange the parking dispensation yourselves?
Yes. We submit the application to the city of Utrecht and build the processing time into the schedule. The council fee appears as a separate pass-through item in the quote, so you can see what you pay us and what goes to the council.
Will you work from a cradle already on the roof?
Yes, provided the inspection is current. We ask for the inspection report before we start. If it has lapsed we will not use the installation and we propose a cherry picker instead — liability for an uninspected cradle ultimately sits with the building, and neither of us wants that.
How disruptive is it for residents?
Limited, as long as they know. We give at least a week’s notice of which elevation is being done when, so people can close their curtains that day. Each elevation usually takes half a day to a day.
