We process as little data as possible, and only to handle your request and carry out the work. This page sets out exactly what that means.

Who processes your data
Vogel Glazenwasserij is the data controller. Our full company details, including Chamber of Commerce number and contact address, appear at the foot of every page and on the contact page.
What data, and why
If you complete the quote or contact form, we process your name, e-mail address, phone number, the address of the property and the answers you gave in the form. We need those to give you a price and schedule the work — that is performance of a contract, or the steps leading up to one.
We also record the time of a request and the page you came from. We use that to see which pages actually produce enquiries, and to recognise abuse of the form. That is our legitimate interest.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an instruction are deleted after twelve months. If you become a customer, we keep the data belonging to the instruction for as long as the relationship lasts and for two years afterwards. Invoices and related records are kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for marketing. It only reaches parties we engage in order to do our work: our hosting provider, our e-mail provider and our accountant. Data processing agreements are in place with them and they may not use the data for their own purposes.
Cookies and measurement
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no external analytics service that follows you across sites. That is also why you see no cookie banner: there is nothing to decline.
If that ever changes, you will be asked to choose before anything is placed, and this page will be updated.
Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted or have the processing restricted. You may also object, and ask to receive your data in a readable file. Send a message to the e-mail address on the contact page; we respond within four weeks.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
